On the other hand, even if you want to let someone know that you’re interested in them, all you need to do is use these 15 simple flirting moves when you’re having a conversation.

If the person you’re talking to is warming up to you, just use these tips and watch how the conversation goes from innocent and boring to bold and naughty in no time.

#1 A lot of touching. Touching each other a lot in the middle of a conversation is a sure sign of flirting, especially if the touches are unnecessary. If your cute friend is finding excuses to touch you now and then, it’s a sure flirting sign. [Read: The art of flirting by touching]

#2 Entering into the personal zone. Does your new friend come really close to you now and then? If your friend tries to come really close to you to whisper something that doesn’t need to be hushed or if their hands reach out towards you often, it’s obvious they want to get close to you, fast!

#3 Show off the best side. In the animal kingdom, mating season always calls for exaggerated displays of feathers and strength. In the human world, mating and dating potentials try to show off their best sides. Girls raise their chest or try to get a guy’s attention to their attractive features, while guys try to charm a girl by talking to her or showing off his manliness. #4 Their eyes sparkle. One of the biggest flirting signs you can notice in a flirty conversation is the widening of the eyes. When a friend of yours is getting attracted to you, their eyes would be wide open and expressive through the entire conversation.

#5 A lot of smiles and giggles. Do you find yourself or your cute friend laughing and giggling throughout the conversation for the silliest of reasons? If your date can’t help but continuously flash a big grin while talking to you, there’s definitely a flirty feeling in the air.

#6 Avoiding all external distractions quickly. If this guy or girl you’re talking to receives a call, do they excuse themselves for a while, or do they try to end the phone call immediately? Or if this person you’re talking to walks into a friend, do they try to end the conversation quickly? [Read: Easy tips to text flirt with someone you like]

Anyone who’s trying to get your attention and flirt with you would always try to end any distraction as quickly as they possibly can.

#7 They check you out. Does this person look you up and down or do their eyes wander over your body, especially when they think you’re not looking? Anyone who flirts with you would definitely want to take a good look at someone they’re sexually attracted to. [Read: What turns a girl on sexually about a guy?]

If you want the flirting to continue, make sure you give enough time for your cute friend to take a good, long look at you!

#8 A lot of blushing. Just like smiling and laughing, blushing is something that comes involuntarily in a flirty conversation. Does your friend’s face go pink when you compliment them? If it does, gosh, you’re making a huge impression on this person!

#9 Shows off the single tag. If someone’s trying to flirt with you in the hope of dating you, they’d try their best to let you know that they’re not dating anyone. They would want to make it clear to you that they’re single and looking for someone interesting to date.

#10 Veers the conversation to date plans. Does this fine new friend of yours try to constantly change the conversation to talk about your weekend plans or your favorite movies? If your friend wants to know if both of you have any hobbies or weekend habits in common, it’s a definite flirting sign. [Read: How guys flirt – 15 subtle things guys do to impress a girl]

#11 Compliments and exaggerated expressions. Does your date ever go “…really …aww …that’s so sweet” or anything along those lines for the smallest of your stories? When someone tries to flirt with you, they’d compliment you a lot constantly and they would definitely indulge in exaggerated displays of expressions.

#12 They get annoyed if they’re cut in. Does this friend you’re talking to get offended or do they behave rudely with another person if they cut in to join the conversation? If someone wants to flirt with you, they’d hate it if some other person joins the conversation or tries to get your attention.

#13 The guy acts dominant, the girl acts coy. If a guy or a girl tries to flirt with you, they would involuntarily start to emphasize their sexual traits. The guy would try to behave more manly or protective, while the girl would start to behave in a very sweet and coy manner.

If you feel like this friend talks to everyone else in a particular way and becomes very affectionate or protective around you, that’s a good flirting sign to watch out for.

#14 Completely focused on you. When you’re talking to this person who seems to like you, do they focus all their attention on you and no one else even if there are others around you? Does this friend try to look for excuses to touch your face or shoulder, or look for ways to tease you? [Read: Signs both of you are more than friends]

If this friend is completely attentive to you and your needs and nothing else, even if there are several others around, there’s definitely something brewing in the air.

#15 Excited to be with you. One of the biggest signs of flirting is the excitement in the air. If you bump into this person or lock eyes across the street, are they really excited to see you even if both of you aren’t really the best of friends?

If your friend tries to prolong the conversation or doesn’t want the conversation to end with you, it’s a definite flirting sign. After all, why would someone want to hold onto you unless they like you a lot and want to be with you?

  3. Andrea says:

This one time this guy was so exited to see me he left the room.

  4. Joshua says:

That could have been me… This one girl in my class is so pretty, but I’m way to nervous to start a conversation. Most people at my school don’t know that I’m high functioning autistic, so I don’t pick up on these social cues. I did notice that this girl would look at me a lot when she thought that I couldn’t see her, but I figured maybe I’m looking into things too much.

  5. bella says:

If a boy flirts with me all the time but everyone knows he likes another girl what should i do ?
(he goes home the same way i do everyday)

  6. Braxton F. says:

I’ve been good friends with this girl since kindergarten (we are in the same 5th grade class) i worried she might have a crush on me and i am slowly developing a crush on her. She was the first person i met and i myself am really shy (i am worried my crush is obvious because at the end of most of our conversations we both laugh abunch (i worried its obvious because i think i might blush)

    Could someone help me ?

  7. Braxton F. says:

A couple things i left out in my first comment
1.My crush began last 1 or 2 week of November when i had a dream where there was an assembly in the dream and we sat by eachother and she asked me to meet her at Arbys then tried to hold my hand

2.i would ask her best friend but she would automatically tell her i have a crush (the only friend i can tell the secret to is my best friend JOE

Son of a bitch! #15 happened to me exactly. This very beautiful sweet woman I knew that I thought I perhaps would never see again, which I never did. I saw her at a traffic light. I was going straight and she was taking a left, she tried her best to make a conversation with me and I did to, but the light turned green. I should have told her to meet me by the nearest store, Oh well.

The whole staring and smiling and laughing at my little nothing jokes hysterically for no reason happened to me also with a waitress I knew. I never realized it and never saw her again shortly after even though she worked at that place for years she said. Such a coincidence isn’t it.

  9. Lena says:

There’s a guy who sits next to me in math and he does all of these things! I’ve thought he’s really cute for a while but I’m very shy and after reading this I’ve decided to flirt back! 🙂

  10. michele says:

I work with this really HOT guy and we flirt all the time. I want him really bad and can’t wait till we hook up..he’s the whole package, his smile is beautiful

  11. JadeAlexandria says:

Hi, so, there’s this guy that I’ve known for about 3 years now and we started talking and becoming good friends 2 years ago and weLloyd this past year I’ve realized that I’ve fallen in love with him and he’s told several of my friends that he likes me back but, there’s just one problem…he has a girlfriend. From what I’ve heard they’ve already done the deed many times and they’re really serious about the relationship. I try to ignore him so I can forget about him but there’s always something going on with him. He either sits close by me in my classes, stares at me, smiles at me, slowly brushes by me, asks my friends about me or all of the above and just recently I found out that he got one of my friends drunk so he could her ask her questions about me and ugh, I really just am at my wits end with him but at the same time I can’t help but love him so much. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. Please help me!

  12. Zaraxxx says:

    omg #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6 literally happened to me. haha

  13. Anonymous says:

Omg the other day my guy friend and I went swimming and he was so touchy , he would carry me and he kept hugging me from behind, sitting me in his lap. He’s so sweet xx. The chemistry is undeniable.

  14. what? says:

the thing about the man acting dominant and the woman acting coy is just bs. im most certainly a dominant lady and i would never ever ever let a man be dominant over me, i dont care what society says i refuse to be perceived as being weaker than a man, and most women i know think this way too. certainly not a sign of attraction

  15. (364DoM) says:

I’m pretty sure it’s just a generalization. Surely some guys act coy too!

  16. wildfire123 says:

the ending to tht first one is sweet

  17. TheMilk says:

Not dominant in a bad way but protective and assertive. That said, men will always perceive you weaker because you are. Don’t repeat the resented feminist caca. Society says NOTHING, this is a biological fact seen in every race. Men produce about 100 times more testosterone than women; thus, they are stronger, more aggressive, and perhaps more internalized as a result. That’s not to say that we aren’t all mortals and vulnerable, or that we are all the same in character, but if you are alone in a questionable and dangerous area, who do you want next to you, another woman or a man? I rest my case.

  18. Alisa says:

    Omg, my crush does numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 14. xD

  19. alexander says:

Hey folks i want u to help me with my situation please, the thing is that i like a girl but it is difficult to date her since she is at her work, i do not work in there i always see her in there every week so i try to have small talks. What could i do to get closer of her like finding i way to go out, im worried if i dont see her later because maybe she can leave her work which means that i would not have a chance to get to know her.
in few words i have to be more or less direct about my intentions, what do u think?
